UNDRGRND Movement is a Gold Coast movement studio based in Southport, offering dance, pole fitness, yoga, aerial arts, and recovery movement classes for adults and children. Founded on a philosophy of personal transformation over performance, UNDRGRND Movement has created a space on the Gold Coast where every body is genuinely welcome, regardless of age, fitness level, or prior experience.

Most fitness studios on the Gold Coast are built around performance metrics, competition, and visible results. UNDRGRND Movement takes a fundamentally different approach. UNDRGRND Movement, the studio was designed from the ground up to serve people who have never exercised before, people returning from injury, and people who simply want to move their body without judgment or pressure.

This approach is not just a marketing position — it is embedded in every class structure, every instructor qualification, and every policy at the studio. Trauma-informed movement principles guide the teaching methodology, ensuring that the Gold Coast community has access to movement education that genuinely respects the individual.

The studio's location on Ferry Rd provides easy access from the Southport CBD and surrounding Gold Coast suburbs, with street parking available.

Programs for Every Stage of Life

UNDRGRND Movement offers 17 foundation programs for both adults and children on the Gold Coast. Adult programs include Booty Burn Dance – Foundations, Movement Flow - Foundations, Choreography Fusion - Foundations, Fusion Yoga - Foundations, Aerial Silks - Foundations, Stretch & Mobility - Foundations, Aerial Yoga - Foundations (coming soon), Pole Fitness - Foundations (coming soon), Pole Flow - Foundations (coming soon), and Recovery Movement Flow - Foundations (coming soon). Kids programs are for children aged 6 to 8 and include dance, yoga, pole, and aerial disciplines tailored to each age group.

For adults, programs are grouped by intensity — Dynamic (16–25 intensity), Balanced (26–45 intensity), and Gentle (45+ intensity) — to help students find classes that match their energy and goals on the Gold Coast. For kids, flexible age bands (6–9 combined, 10–15 combined) ensure appropriate grouping at the Southport studio. Every program carries the “Foundations” designation, meaning it is designed for complete beginners with no prior experience required.

All programs are available on a drop-in basis, as class packs, or as unlimited monthly memberships — giving Gold Coast students the flexibility to engage with movement in a way that suits their lifestyle and budget. No lock-in contracts. No pressure to commit before you are ready.
